I recently moved into my new home and let me just say- moving out of one place and into another can be a pretty daunting an overwhelming task. Here are some of my best tips that can help- especially if you’re not using professional movers.

Last year I had a pawty for my spicy, tuxedo rescue cat Coco, and this year, she turned 2! Funny story- I ended up adopting another cat last year and tbh, it was something I never thought I would do but I am so happy I did. I guess they were right- two cats really are better than one! Lola, my gentle blue-grey cat- turned 1 so I ended up doing a joint pawty for them.
PS: they do look a tag grumpy in this picture but I assure you they are absolutely lovely. Let’s just say that taking pictures with two cats is easier said than done.
Ever since I’ve been living alone, I love changing up my space for different seasons or whenever I host little gatherings with my friends. Finding budget friendly home decor pieces on Amazon has become a hobby at this point and one thing I love is boho themed elements in my apartment.
Think hues of pinks, yellows and oranges accented with natural elements such as rattan, seagrass, plants and ceramic.
Here are 10 of my fave boho pieces that I have. I added the wooden beads to my entryway table, the hanging pendant rattan lamp above my dining table and the seagrass basket makes for a perfect place to elevate a boring plant pot.
The rose gold candlesticks are literally a STEAL. Like honestly, I was shocked at how heavy and very well made they were which is why, for the price- you need them in your life. I like purchasing items such as this, that can be used throughout the year. Here’s a fun tip: use inexpensive coloured candlesticks to change up the look depending on the season! Black for Halloween and pink for spring? Yes, I think that sounds lovely.
