Makeup Collection 2015

Eeeep. I’m so excited to share with you my makeup collection for 2015 because it’s been such a highly requested video for as long as I can remember, and even more so when I posted my vanity “clean with me” video here. I made a promise to myself for the year that I’m not going to buy excessive amounts of makeup because 1. I’m not a “beauty guru” and makeup tutorials are not my thing 2. I like to budget so that I can buy things that I actually want- like books and photog accessories- and go on random travel adventures.

I have to say that I kept true to my promise and barely bought any makeup except for those seen in my High End Makeup Haul. Yes, gone are the days where I rushed into drugstores or malls to buy makeup that I’ll most likely never use. The makeup you see in this video is just the right amount for me and please note, I’m not bragging or anything like that. It was just an uber requested video. November Plan with Me

It’s November already. Like what is happening to this world?! Where is the time going??!? Well at least there are things to look forward too, like Christmas andddd, a November Plan with Me of course.

Every month, I like trying new things in my planner and sharing it with you. However this month, I must admit that I was a little hesitant to do this video because I literally had no clue on how to plan for this month. Thankfully, Gemma, a lovely subscriber, told me about this amazing blog called Vintage Glam Studio, that has FREE sticker printables and I went cray cray.

I was very inspired by the printables Dru (owner of Vintage Glam Studio) had on her blog, and I just printed them on sticker/label paper (like these from Avery) and boom, I got those lovely stickers that really made this month’s spread look incredible. Makeup Storage & Organization

My vanity was a complete and utter train wreck for the most part of the year. Don’t believe me, you’ll see the BEFORE pics soon enough. It was because I didn’t have proper makeup storage and organization and I was a hoarder. Good thing those days are over because after a good declutter and reorganization, my vanity area is a dream come true. Of course, I still have to work on that Hollywood glam lights look but everything in a timing right?

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream Swatches | Tan/Olive Skin

Hello beauties!

Since I cleaned my vanity area (video soon to come- yes, an actual “clean with me”), I became reacquainted with soooo many makeup products that never saw the light of day. Literally. They were in a draw all hidden away in a bundled heap, so understandably, I never went for them. But because of my random cleaning, I rekindled my love for a lip product that is a staple in my collection. The NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams.

I asked on snapchat (username: parisandroxy) and on instagram, if you wanted to see a swatch video on them and I got so many positive responses (yay). I did this video veryyyy differently because if I must be honest, makeup videos just aren’t my forte. So I decided to vogue for you…as I swatched the products on my lips. LOL

One of the main reasons I decided to even think about doing this video/post is because there are barely swatches on tan/olive skin- not only of this but soooooo many products. So I hope this helps you if you have a similar skin tone.
