10 ways to be Single and Happy: how to love being single

Single for 2018. That’s me. Sure, I’ve been newly single for a few months (after a 7 year toxic relationship which you can read about here), but to think about being truly and utterly single for an entire year?? Is it possible to be single and happy? 

UM YES. Bring it on. You’re probably thinking I’m crazy but hear me out. 

I am beyond excited and I think it’s because of the taste of singleness I’ve been riding on these past few months- especially when I realized OMFG I actually WANT to be single !!

I’m definitely not saying I want to be single foreverrrrr, but I am saying that I want to be single for 2018. It’s been sooooo long since I actually had a whole year to myself so I am beyond ready for this challenge.

Once again that time has come again. Isn’t it funny how we always, on a daily basis, have the chance to make our lives better? But somehow, there’s something different about a New Year. Something ceremonious and exciting and even magical, that makes you think and believe in possibilities. 

Writing down or speaking out your New Year’s resolutions is almost a sacred  tradition that gives hope and inspires you to believe that YES. Things can be different. You can do better. This is a new chance to reinvent yourself and truly have the life you want.

10 Life Lessons & Truths you NEED to learn now

If there was one year I had to choose that was “THE” pinnacle of learning years for me, it had to be 2017. Not surprisingly enough, I am so happy to move on to 2018, but not without taking with me the lessons & truths that I’ve learnt. Naturally, this inspired a post about 10 life truths that I’ve learnt along the way and I had to share with you. These truths are exactly that- truths. Lessons that are tried and tested, but yet remain true. 

No matter your beliefs or what ideas you hold dear to you, there are just some things that you will learn in life and it’s so very important to acknowledge the lessons learnt and use them to move forward and help you not get royally screwed over again.

5 Reasons I actually WANT to be Single

Being single has been a breath of fresh air to me. Honestly, I thought it would have been hard  AF because I mean the way that society portrays being single- as if it’s a curse and you’ll just be lonely and depressed and hate life and yourself. 

Naturally, I was waiting for something dramatic to happen on my first day as being newly single- as if a comet would fly over my head or some bs, or maybe I would erupt in a fit of tears or suddenly feel a bunch of self-loathing because I didn’t have a guy in my life.
